This is my first experience ever driving any type of exotic car or driving on a track that wasn’t go karts. This experience from GTA Exotics was amazing from start to end. I booked my time slot months in advance. When I went to sign in, that process only took a few minutes. They offered me the coaching option but I declined. Doing the discovery lap really helped to see the track at first hand before actually driving the car. The driver explained where we should be braking or accelerating at every single turn. Once the discover lap was over, I walked over to the Aventator I booked to drive. I’ve never been within a metre of a Lamborghini let alone sit inside one and drive it. I didn’t have to wait at all. The staff member who got in the car with me was great! His name was Danny. I didn’t even know how to open the door, start the car, move my seat down or anything. I might as well have been in a spaceship. But Danny was such a cool and chill guy, walking me through everything. He provided constant words of encouragement the whole way, with great chitchat as I drove through my laps. He was the perfect guy to come along for the ride for a first timer, I’d recommend this experience just based off of his company alone. The staff have a system that seemed so fluid to allow faster cars to pass slower cars. They’re all coordinated with each other so I didn’t have to worry about if I was going too slow or too fast. Danny was my 2nd set of eyes on the track for this purpose and that was really comforting. I also brought 2 friends with me to watch. As I drove off, there was another staff member who kept my friends company. He was an older fellow, white hair and sunglasses. I wish I got his name because he gave us all the time in the world to let us 3 take so many pictures and videos sitting in and outside of the car, and he even walked us over to let us see the Huracan in and out which I was very nice of him. I’ll...

My husband and family were here again for the Superbike double header weekend. It was so disappointing and not sure if we would come back again. Here are a few points:

  1. Entertainment: Last year they had BMW sponsor and Steven Paige performed and local bands. At least there was something fun to do on Saturday night! They even had live music Friday night with a beer tent. After 5pm this year, it was a ghost town. Even during the day! The freestyle motocross guys were great, but last year was way better! The Szoke family killed it! Trials, stunts, and even an extra stunt show! This year it was maybe 15 minutes long and that's it! They should have had a backup plan for the wind!

  2. Swag: I had money to spend and no vendors. I wanted an event shirt and cool motorcycle gear. There was no gear to buy. At least last year I was able to buy cool BMW gear and an event shirt. There was an unofficial shirt, but not that great. The largest Canadian race of the year and no swag... so disappointing!!

  3. Food: last year they had food trucks before the concert. They were pretty good. This year absolutely nothing. They had a BBQ truck, but that's it.

  4. They kept advertising the "marketplace!" There was absolutely nothing!! The BBQ truck, motorcycle insider, and the ice cream truck sometimes.

  5. The big fancy building should host a $50 per person brunch or dinner with open bar. You would attract a higher clientele and boost sales. It sits empty with offices and media.

For the biggest race in Canada of the year, it was so disappointing! My husband's family has been coming since he was young. We are big Jordan Szoke fans!! Now we don't even want to come anymore. It should be a fun filled weekend with so many things to do. We had so much down time and all the announcers do is talk. There should be more to do! They are losing so much money! It's a shame for the sport...

Would give 5 stars, but security for camping is horrible, but the track, races amd everything else was amazing.

I reccomene to stage for camping, because you can't reserve spots. It's on a first come basis. You can find any camping spot you want, along the track, in tress, on the infield or outfield. There is showers and bathrooms, and portable potties set close by anywhere you are. If you can't find a fire pit just make one!. Note: there are no picnic tables so bring a folding table if needed. There is also a truck that goes around and sells firewood. $10 for one sack or $30 for three. Not bad.

Lot's of food to choose from amd there is a beer garden with a concert. This weekend was an 80's cover band which was great!

All the races were great! The Nascar race was amazing to watch.

NOW THE BAD STUFF The security at night was horrible, even the police patrolled but, here is my experience this weekend...

A lot of young people, alot of underage as I could tell. Parting all night, loud music, cars reving their engines all night, (why?? I have no idea). Cars doing doing donuts and spinning their tires on the grass and speeding with kids running around, very dangerous and this goes on till 3 or 4am before it quiets down. So don't count on much sleep. I know it's race weekend and I am not a party pooper, but it was a little much. I am not sure why security let's them get away with this?.

POSITIVES It is a great weekend of fun and races! They had a great concert and fireworks show and I met alot of great friendly people there!! So much fun. I do recommend everyone to go! I will be going again, I just hope they control the partying, reving of cars, and loud music. (3am for loud music is a...

Camped here for the first time to see the Chevrolet Grand Prix and had an absolute blast. We got there pretty late around 11pm on Thursday and had no problem checking in. For camping there are the options of setting up inside or outside the track, and also choosing in fields or inside the trees. For the most part it’s first-come, first-served for campsites. You simply arrive and set up wherever you’d like inside the camping areas. We found a great spot right on the inside of the track and were able to watch the races from this spot. Most spots don’t seem to have fire pits but you’re able to make one easily with a shovel and some rocks! We were able to buy firewood from a house not far along the highway. There are also bathrooms and showers for the camping areas. One of the most fun things about the experience is that you have pretty open access most areas. You can get really close to the cars when they’re off the track. There are lots of different areas to watch the races from as well. At the end of each day, the track opens for people to walk freely on it, which I highly recommend! There is an outdoor marketplace that sells food during the day. The prices can be pretty high for some of the food trucks, but the permanent concession stands aren’t too bad. These concession stands also sell ice for your cooler if you’re camping. There are also bouncy castles and games set up for kids in this area. Overall, an unforgettable weekend!

We went for the Chevrolet Grand Prix, an IMSA event for LMP2 and GTD and GTD Pro classes. (As well as some others.) The track is on a park like setting of rolling hills with many great viewpoints, the best being the home straight, turn 2 and the back straight. There are a couple of very small unshaded metal bleachers, so all seating is on what ya brung. As visitors from out of town, we had no chairs we could bring, so had to add the cost of that to our visit. (Walmart) There is some shade on the far sides of the track, but the front straight is almost all open. It was low 90's and high humidity, so trying to stay cool was a problem! There are decent food vendors and some real toilets. The actual race day was a zoo, with all facilities a bit overwhelmed. Biggest problem was getting out as parking is a complete free for all. We waited about 30 minutes before a staff member directed us to the back exit, which got us out fairly quickly. But there is ZERO direction when parking, so it's extremely inefficient. Overall, it's a good place to see a race, but better for a race that is not so well attended.

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park's Mosport International Raceway (formerly Mosport Grand Prix Track) has been a gorgeously renovated for the last 5 years. Having a long and storied past, it still remains the fastest track in North America for now but with considerable amounts of safety added on turns 2 and 8. The track is considered a driver's track as the turns flow from one to the other but it is more suited for power cars than strictly agility ones (ie: a Miata). Nonetheless, all cars WILL have fun maintaining speeds on this track and lessons learnt from this course will help immensely at other tracks around the province. The banquet hall is freshly renovated and spacious whilst the track does have Sunoco 94 octane gas on hand along with a tire and mechanic shop who surprisingly will charge reasonable prices for on the spot work. Highly recommended for both drivers and race fans alike. Plenty of spots to view the track and plenty of corners to thrill drivers.
