Absolutely LOVE the heritage park! We took our reactive dog there as bicycles and other dogs trigger him and really wanted to be able to have an enjoyable, stress-free walk for him. We chose the 0.9km "Panoramic Trail" where it restricts bicyles. What an amazing walk! Clean trails, the grass is cut in the fields and the view....the view is stunning! If you're going on this trail, I would highly recommend that you wear bug spray. The mosquitos are intense along the trail and only get worse the further in you go. Would be a great place to go for a picnic, walk with the family or with your pups.

We had a really nice stroll along a couple of loops, then did the Costley Farm Trail which is a little more rugged. Our four year old had a blast hopping from rock to rock. There are some nice views as well. We ended up walking just under 7k in total.

Well maintained trails. Easy walk for all ages. The washrooms are located at the parking which is the trail head, as well as at poor’s farm by the lake. Take advantage of them, so that you could enjoy the panorama landscape fully.

Across the road from the Cole Harbour Park car park is a new trail (Not on Google Maps yet), that leads past the old Rehab centre (Now torn down) and down around Bissett Lake and into Colby Village. The first part of the trail is nicely paved for bikes and then into the Bissett lake Park it is gravel. From the parking lot it is about. 4km...

Beautiful park filled with lots of nature; deer, rabbits, butterflies, squirrels, birds, and millions of mosquitoes! I repeat, millions of mosquitoes! But if you bring bug spray and a hat it’s an amazing park. Varying inclines, great for a work out. Not paved, crushed rocks. Interesting history to learn if you stopped to...
