The Missus and I went for a walk in February at the park formerly known as the Colony Farm Regional Park. The trails were relatively flat and wide. For the able-bodied, the trails were not challenging and utilized by walkers (humans and dogs), joggers, cyclists and bird watchers. A bridge connected the old Colony Farm with the Wilson Farm property. We didn't see any wildlife in the wetlands other than a few ducks in the Coquitlam River. The main parking lot was located at the entrance next to the community gardens. Clean washroom facilities were also available.

ƛ̓éxətəm Regional Park is a great place for a relaxing walk or bike ride along the Coquitlam River. It's also perfect for dog lovers and families. Here's a quick rundown of what you can expect: Pros: Beautiful scenery, great for walking, running, cycling, and dog walking. Washrooms available at the main parking lot. Cons: Limited parking, especially on sunny days. Can be difficult to access by public transit. Shared paths with cyclists, so be aware of your surroundings.

Overall, it is a lovely spot to enjoy the outdoors in Coquitlam. Just be sure to factor in parking and accessibility when...

A spacious parking lot and clean washrooms are conveniently located at the entrance. Romantically, picnic tables are scattered around under trees or between farmland. It’s really a wonderful...
