It amazes me that less then 10 minutes from the City Centre in Coquitlam, one can drive to a quaint park that leads in just a few short steps to the Coquitlam River.

The park is small with some grass areas and playgrounds for children. There was one cement picnic bench. But what makes the park unique is the river - this location would be great for tubing. There is a trail that follows the river that is easy to follow and quite beautiful. And there is sand! Real sand. Not alot but it's there.

Parking I can imagine would be a nightmare during the summer but I'm the Fall and Winter is likely not an issue.

I'm short, if you are looking for a scenic and peaceful surrounding with the sound of water rushing in the background, this park should be...

Small toddler park with a popular river in the back to play in. Beware! It is crazy busy there in the summer, parking gets crazy so be prepared to park far and walk. No parking area, just neighborhood street parking. We love this park for the river. It's shallow enough for toddlers to walk in. Please don't make it difficult for neighbors there and disrespect their space...or else it would turn into another Crystal Falls - closed. *Also: there is one portable washroom that's rarely cleaned...

Little hidden gem. I really don’t want this park to become more popular than it is. Giving one star, but this is a great park to take kids to. Slow flowing river and perfect depth. Do watch out for bears during warm seasons. Very limited parking.

Tiny park with tiny swings for tiny tots ("tot lot"). Small beach area by the river. Wheelchair accessible - low slope toward beach area. Path is mostly paved, with the last 30 ft being dirt and small gravel. One port a potty available.
