Great Family beach, compact white sand, beautiful boardwalks, change rooms and nice bathroom facilities, with rinse station! The only thing I would change (if possible) would be the cleanliness of the water, there is a lot of debris, and seaweed and sticks and such floating around at shore, which makes for not the most appealing walk in. Once your past it, it's fine. The water is great! Not sure if it was just the day I was there or not. This beach has good waves, and it's fairly long. No reservations required, free parking, and close to Halifax. It was really nice having that because it's not like this at the beaches where I'm from (Ontario/Greater Toronto Area)

There are changerooms, washrooms, and showers to rinse your feet. The overall beach and facilities were clean.
