Little lake has only one tiny public beach maintained by the city. No Park nor concert with thousands of people. Except for the occasional powerboaters and noisy skidoos this is a very quiet peaceful lake. Has a small boat launch area. Beautiful torquoise green calm water. Little lake is shallow - deep in the middle only. Great for kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. You can fish with waders by walking all along the edge of the lake. See a few people practise their swimming for triathlon. Other than the picnickers on the public beach the lake has mostly cottagers and full time residents. It has 2 beaches and quite sandy. I often saw people fishing in this lake.
Every Fri during the summer months there is a public concert, the park is filled with thousands of spectators. The best band I heard throughout the summer was "tribute to Prince", the lead singer is incredibly talented, what a voice, his performance and the back up was worth the crowd.
