Incredible Beach. Off the the Cabot trail, Dingwall exit by the garage. Not well marked by the province of Nova Scotia tourism or the community. If you go to lower Dingwall take a left at the end of the grave yard past the post office. Than the first right. Take this for approximately 1 km over the causeway by the fishing ward.
The beach stretches out for miles. Very few visitors second to it's remoteness and unmarked way.
Locals very friendly. Beautiful views of the mountains, White Point and the Dingwall harbour.
You can also go to the other beach in lower Dingwall. Instead of turning left at the graveyard go all the way to the end of the road. It will bring you to the MarkpanMarkland cabins. Just prior to there there are two beaches.
Incredible views and wilderness, the best kept secret.very unfortunately the province tourism Department and the Island of Cape Breton has not promoted this area.
It's not in the Federal Park. cape Breton Highlands Park
The roads are being replaced and will t perfect
Enjoy. Don't forget to take your garbage with you...

Both had to have a bath when we returned to our RV. Went in the water a short distance. Sorry rule makers. Beach is wonderful. Long and fairly clean. Save for a couple fish carcasses. It’s pretty clean. Typical maritime beach. Lots of parking. But of a bumpy road on the way down there. But nothing concerning. Natural boat launch and man made break-wall that makes for a sheltered area from high winds and rough water to launch or land a boat. Easy to get a boat trailer down there if one needed to do so. Just at end of Quarry Rd. Beaute of a little town...

Drive towards Dingwall, turn on to Mountain View Road, and then turn onto Quarry Road. Then prepare yourselves for a beautifully quiet beach where you will feel like everything is right in the world. This beach is usually pretty wavy, and it is the REAL open ocean, so be aware. Lots of boats will go by. Which makes even bigger waves, which is even more fun! There is no lifeguard...
