Small but beautiful!! There are 2 Muskoka chairs just as you enter off of Younge St. A beach volleyball court is available and there is parking available, mind you not a lot of parking but you’re in Huntsville you’ll find parking somewhere. There’s a really well kept trail and a beautiful boardwalk. You could go from one side of the lake to the other, not right around the lake but I good part of it. You could go swimming on the one side of the beach, there’s steps into the water and on the other side you can’t but I saw a few people fishing from the other side maybe one side is for swimmers the other for fishing. It could use a few more benches along the way or some bars to do some exercises. Maybe a swing set for kids. It’s a dog friendly place but there are signs to keep them on leashes. Everyone is very friendly and usually greet you when passing. I saw a group having a bbq not sure if it’s allowed but they are bbquing. If you’re looking for a great place to go for a nice walk I would recommend it, although the locals were telling me that we’re lucky the black flies aren’t out yet.

Avery beach, not what u think. What can u say, it looks great from the hwy but be very weary of broken glass (found daily), fishing hooks, fishing line, large boulders rocks, iron cables, pieces of pottery tarmac & of course garbage that our Toronto friends leave behind because they just don’t care. The trail is ok but it goes know where. The town really should put some funding into this so called beach, but then again they can’t even fix the roads around Huntsville. Do yourself a favour go elsewhere, unless your launching your million dollar boat.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Avery Beach Park, and I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the wonderful experience I had there. First and foremost, I was captivated by the park's beautiful view. The scenic surroundings, including the pristine beach and the breathtaking ocean, created a serene and tranquil atmosphere. It was truly a feast for the eyes, and I found myself completely immersed in the natural beauty that Avery Beach Park offers.
