Potts Falls — Attraction in District Municipality of Muskoka

A small scenic waterfall just south west of High Falls... Potts Falls is accessible via a portage path off the Great Trail... The Great Trail crosses Potts / Little High Falls river via a wooden footbridge, just above Little High Falls. Informal trails meander along both sides of the river, between the two falls. Some caution should be taken when exploring for obvious reasons, including sloping sections... Tranquile, scenic... peaceful. You have to go off a beaten path a bit to find Potts falls. Potts falls was actually my favourite one out of the 3 that can be found in the same location. A hidden gem long along HWY11. Well worth the stop any time of the year. Be sure to hike down to the base of the falls for stunning views. Visit after rainfall to see the falls really flow! Limited parking. Ample for weekdays but you may have challenges parking on evenings and weekends throughout the summer as it's very popular to swim at the base...
