Stay at 313 (PineGrounds) for 4 days. Great family park, had an park playground on the birch beach which the kids loved! The water was all sand, was great! Went on 2 trails Marsh trail I believe and I can not recall the other one. But they were wonderful. One of the two had pretty rough terrain, was still a great experience. Some of the best trails I've been through. Some of the problems this park lacks: is the distance to access anything. Shop was up an incline so carrying wood and ice took energy, the toilet near us was rough, I usaully just walk to the park office one which had a sink and soap which was more convenient. Only 1 comfort station in the whole park, which was an 15 min walk, showers were closed because of covid19. Privacy not the greatest, our site was behide the highway/JoeKings road. Was always cars driving bye, especially more louder at night when noise is reduced. Lastly the sites are pretty small, had a few friends that came up and we had to position our tent facing the road and the Warden drives bye too much at night should be walked patrol, always had bright lights through our tents was kinda annoying. Overall was a great park just a few flaws, Coldwater the closet town for Food, there is an Tim's off the TransCanada Hwy so coffee every morning was a blessing, less things you need to pack. Wonderful park nonetheless!

I went here for a weekend getaway, it was just one night and the only spot available in the whole campground is no.15. You need to walk a 55m slightly steep path up to the spot. For me it is perfect, privacy is fine for me and we won't bother others all of a sudden. Bugs/Insects: almost none Campsite environment: quiet at night despite traffic sounds out there. bathrooms are clean and the hot water from shower is a spot-on!!! Activities: too much seaweed in the water. paddle boat was very fun ($20/2hours) Parking: very easy parking and clear park signs

It was a good experience, there is a bunch of things to do, they have small beaches, three trails - which are pretty short but good. They have loads of camping spots, but according to me they were very crowded and near to each other. But nice place to visit for the day.

6 mile lake is a great little spot for camping, we had a site right on the water in the Cedar area which is very close to the beach, a short walk in to the site. Those sites might be a bit rocky for your tent pegs though so yah gotta get a little creative.

We ended up arriving right at the closing time to check in (due to some Jeep trouble) but Heidi went the extra mile for us and got us settled in and on our way to our site, even though she had to stay a little extra. Many...
