I had an absolutely amazing time visiting the Duck Lake Regional Interpretive Centre! I've been living here for over a year now and have had the pleasure of meeting many First Nation people, but I never had the opportunity to truly immerse myself in their culture until my visit to this incredible place. It was such a valuable experience that brought me closer to understanding and appreciating their rich heritage. I feel so lucky to have been a part of this enlightening journey, and it's definitely taken me one step closer to the wonderful community here. Once again, a big shout-out to everyone involved in making the Duck Lake Regional Interpretive Centre such a fantastic place. I highly recommend this visit to anyone who wants to delve deeper into their local heritage and learn more about the fascinating Duck...

I was able to take a step back in time at the Duck Lake Regional Interpretive Centre. There is a small fee to enter. I love how the displays are set up and there are First Nations, Métis and settler interpretations. I was sad to hear that the DLRIT was flooded this spring so please come out and support this place! Some of the displays were very close to my heart. The interpreter was friendly and knowledgeable about the local history. There is a small gift shop filled with works from local artisans. The only downfall was that the washroom...

Wonderful museum. A goldmine of local prairie history. The pioneer days of white settlers in Saskatchewan. The legendary Louis Riel & Gabriel Dumont days of rebellion. Great artifacts! So much Canadian history to learn. The tower offers great views in all directions. A great stop for anyone interested in the struggle of the Métis and First Nations population who were the indigenous people of the prairies.
