Kelowna Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Club — Attraction in East Central Okanagan Electoral Area

What separates this club from the other well groomed areas to ski? The (off leash) dog trails!

If you want to take your best buddy out for an adventure while you ski, then the 20km of trails at this location is tops. Other areas will either make you keep your dog on a leash while you ski (completely unsafe imo) or have trails that are poor and only a few km; Not a workout unless you want to do laps of the same trail.

Doing a great job maintaining a very good groom despite lower snow volume this year.

Nordic is a great club with endless snowshoe and country ski trails and a few cool little day cabins stocked with wood for their wood stoves.(All the trails and day cabins are also available to anyone). We are lucky to have it so near to our city (about thirty minutes drive). So far there is no store or ticket booth so you need to come with your own gear, and pay by Dropbox...

Awesome place for xc skiing for both skate and classic. Lodge is rustic. $12/person trail fee was very reasonable for the quality of grooming. Trails were in stellar condition. Compared to sovereign lake the terrain seems less hilly. Outdoor washrooms facilities were in good shape. Signage is good and map are availabe at trail head. Theres a couple different access points...
