This museum seems to have more than local history and culture to share, it also does a pretty good job at presenting an experience that I would describe as it stayed with me all the way home! For first timers in town like myself, I would argue that my prior visits at LG1 and LG2 would not be truly complete without stopping by this place for "tie-ins". I would most definitely recommend stopping by here first before exploring the rest of Chisasibi to get an even better appreciation of the community and understanding some of the do's and don'ts. Coming all the way from Montreal, I can happily say that safely reaching Chisasibi is perhaps a personal achievement, although getting to learn from this museum ultimately makes the whole point of my trip! The cost is 10$ for adults and 5$ for seniors.
My gripe is that they are closed between 12:00 and 1pm for lunch, we arrived at 11:40, i thought if you're inside, it's ok, but somebody came towards us while we were looking at the exhibit and told us that we need to leave because they are closed for lunch.
