Spruce Beach — Attraction in Elliot Lake

Cute little spot with a park and washrooms close by. Unfortunately if you swim out of the swim area the life guards yell at you that your swimming at your own risk ... It should be posted. But they have rescue kayaks right there so I truly don't believe if someone were drowning it would be up to the public to save them... Life guards have first aid and should be obligated to rescue someone in distress no matter what, no? This is a review from someone who lives here and let me just say this is the best beach in Elliot Lake! There’s times of the day where it’s supervised and some times it’s not so you can go whenever! Also, there’s a public washroom near it so if you need to change you can go there. The only time you can’t swim here is in winter as the water is all frozen.
