Lion's Den Hiking Trail — Attraction in Fogo

Very breathtaking views. This is a loop of moderate difficulty. I found that taking a counterclockwise route on the trail would be better since there are paved steps on the second half of the loop that would make it easier to climb up

There are so many ponds at different levels that makes the views very enjoyable.

There are clearly marked signs every major turn of the trail along with information boards about the history...

Great hike with extraordinary views ! Took us just under 2 hours to finish it with couple of stops to rest . You can park your car near the trailhead . Very well marked and mostly dry now apart from few muddy patches , did it with running shoes...
