Not much at Fort Lawrence, but it ties into history with Fort Beaubassin, which has far more to offer. Fort Beaubassin is super windy, so hold onto your hats. Very interesting. Be sure to read all the little notes on artifacts for surprising details about the pieces.

I expected more from an archeological site than a few maps and placards. My photos are just of the old signs. They have updated ones with additional information and a sheltered picnic area. No fees. Easy parking. Go to Besojour instead if you want to 'see' more.

Great site, I'm glad I visited but the information panels were surprisingly not that informative. I feel that a general Google search can lead to better information.
