I understand that fixing the lower trails will be a a big project, me and a lot of other people would appreciate it if the City could put this project onto their radar and at least start talking about what they can do to fix the trails on the lower section by the creek. Other than that the trails are enjoyable to walk on in the summer, winter not so much as they don't even bother plowing the paved sections of their trails in the community forest. Also, maybe add more garbage cans along the route for people that walk their dogs, it's nice to not hold onto a bag of fieces for the entirety...

There's a paved section of trail that is relatively accessible to all users. There are other none paved sections of double track with some gentle ups and downs. I love taking my dogs here when it isn't super busy. You can see all sorts of wildlife here. I love the signage as there is information about the flora and fauna you might see depending on the time of year. It is a very scenic and peaceful walk.

While by-law states dogs must be leashed here, unfortunately we have encountered many off-leash dogs. So if you are bringing your dogs or aren't a big dog person, this is something to...

A piece of heaven

For fresh air, mind clarity, health, family picnic, a great forest for everyone, from jogger, walker, to biker

The location is perfect as well, for students, newcomers, and again, for everyone, fur babies included 😉

Lots of squirrels and birds singing, so wonderful

Sometimes there's bear and moose sighting, so be aware

And take note, don't go after the rain. Them mosquitos will love...

Stopped by here for a nice walk in nature on a brisk day. Wish the signage at the beginning told you the distance of the trails, but we figure the main loop we did was about 3.5 kms with quite a few steep-ish hills. Was definitely a good way to get some cardio in. We walked it in November so all the scenery was rather brown and dull, but it was still nice to be in nature. I bet the trails are beautiful in the summer.
