Was a nice relaxing drive out to Fort Pitt Provincial Park from Lloydminster,Ab. The highway was excellent there is about 2-3km of gravel road to Fort Pitt. Yes there is not much to see down there but there is foundation markers of where buildings once were that explains the history of the location, there is a outhouse washroom there are a few picnic spots with picnic tables and it does make a great quiet location to visit for a bbq and its right along the banks of the North Saskatchewan River

Nice drive from Lloydminster, lots of potholes though. Fort Pitt is full of very interesting Canadian history.

A historical site where treat 6 was signed. The site is close by the river and is Located beside the river. There is a picnic area closer to the river. A small gravel road gravel leads there heading downhill and turns to the right perpendicular to the river. We went there after buying some meat and eggs from the hudderite farm just right...

I went so you don't have to. After 30 minutes of driving on the most quintessential Saskatchewan roads, There is nothing there. Placards, old picnic tables, a bathroom with bullet holes in the door, and grass as tall as my car. Sad to have something so historic fall into such disrepair, but it is very far out...
