This was probably the best place we've visited in Owen Sound; this park is free to enter and free parking with camping available (at a fee). This park has everything for everyone, from playgrounds and a basketball court for kids to trails and a restaurant for the whole family. The only thing this place doesn't have is a gift shop for shopping. There are a lot of trails in this park, some of which connect to Inglis Falls (around 1 hour hike for myself and wife). The trails can be muddy from recent rain and have many uneven grounds from tree roots and rocks. We missed the entry point to Inglis Falls, but there was one available, but you would need to pay a fee to enter (or free if you go from the trails). There is a decent restaurant on site with average prices and food and a concession stand on the side of the building. The park also had a fenced area with swans and other small bodies of water. Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here whether you are from Owen Sound or just visiting. We spent a few hours here hiking and ate at the restaurant afterward. Also, the ice cream you get from the concession stand comes in a generous amount (recommend).

A hidden gem of a park in a calm & peaceful setting. There are plenty of fun family activities, a mini water fall & scenic trails to explore. After taking the u-turn into the road to the park, keep going straight until you hit a deadend near the swimming pool. On the right is the Weaver's Creek boardwalk leading to the Falls. The fall is small but beautiful & the surroundings are so peaceful + the light mist coming out of the water just makes it an incredible scene. Back into the park, there are many playgrounds with unique structures like a never-before-seen kids gondola, dual swings & see-saw. Kids will love roaming between all the play structures. Paddle boating, mini golf & bird sanctuary are also available. Plenty of green space and seems like bbq is also allowed as we saw coal pits. There are large picnic shelters, a restaurant, ice cream shop & multiple washrooms. We only discovered it while looking for the falls. There is so much to explore that we are going back.

We reside on O.S and own an RV rental business. Our primary service is delivering, setting up, and tearing down RVs for guests who book at Harrison Park Campground. Although there's only one pump-out station which may require waiting. The park is family and pet-friendly, offering numerous playgrounds, hiking trails, and a pool, consistently garnering positive feedback from our guests. We've personally visited the campground; the restrooms are always clean, the campsites are level, making it easy to set up our RVs. There's plenty to do and see. I highly recommend the restaurant at the park's entrance. KMP RV Rentals will spend the entire summer at Harrison Park, ensuring our guests have a wonderful time visiting our city.

Harrison Park in Owen Sound is a fantastic destination for camping, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty, recreational activities, and comfortable amenities. My recent camping trip to this park was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The campground is well-maintained and beautifully situated within the expansive park, providing a peaceful and scenic setting for campers. The sites are spacious, offering plenty of room for tents or RVs, and are equipped with essential amenities like picnic tables and fire pits. Many sites also have electrical hookups, which adds a level of convenience for campers.

One of the highlights of camping at Harrison Park is the abundance of activities available right at your doorstep. The park features a variety of hiking trails that cater to all skill levels, allowing you to explore the lush forests, meandering streams, and beautiful landscapes. The trails are well-marked and provide a great opportunity to connect with nature. The park's amenities are impressive. There is a large playground for children, which is a hit with families. The outdoor pool is a refreshing spot to cool off during the summer months, and the mini-golf course adds a fun element to the camping experience. The park also has canoe and paddleboat rentals, making it easy to enjoy time on the water. A standout feature of Harrison Park is its proximity to Inglis Falls, a stunning waterfall that is a must-see attraction.

The falls are easily accessible from the campground and offer a picturesque spot for photography and relaxation. The park's facilities are clean and well-kept, with modern washrooms and showers available for campers. The on-site restaurant and snack bar provide convenient dining options if you prefer not to cook at...

Beautiful local park. Owen Sound is lucky to have such a large and naturally beautiful park in town. We used to go camping here as kids and would walk around the campgrounds unafraid. The bathrooms in the campground are clean and easily accessible. There is a large main bathroom that has coin operated showers, as well as a few smaller bathrooms scattered through out the campground. The pools are easily accessible from the campgrounds, as are the hiking trails. The only negative is the sites are small, packed together, and have lots of gravel. The beautiful river running along the side, and a small creek going through the center, of the campground adds a really nice, more natural feel. The park is clean and safe, with ample parking.

There is a bird sanctuary where you can walk around and feed the various birds. They have a ton of ducks, as well as swans, geese, peacocks, pheasants, and more. The more exotic birds are in enclosed pens while the ducks, swans, and geese are just behind a fence. The birds areas are kept clean and the birds are well maintained.

There is lots to do like mini golf, paddle boating, canoeing, hiking trails, play grounds, picnic areas, campgrounds, pools, a scenic waterfall, and a restaurant with a take out window.

The restaurant is amazing! Family style cooking with burgers, fries, onion rings, and hot dogs at the take out window. They have a huge variety of ice creams available too. All in all Harrison Park is an amazing spot to take the family.

In the winter the festival of norther lights sets up displays in the park, the basketball courts turn into a community ice rink, and there is a public...

View the campsites before you pay!!! We were planning to camp here Sept. 11th so instead of reserving a site we drove straight to the campground as there were multiple sites showing as available. The pictures on the booking site are very misleading. We picked one that we had previewed on the booking site, only to be told it actually wasn't available. We asked for a site that would fit our 18 ft camper as well as our large pickup truck and were assured that site #84 (which was one of only a few available), was suitable. We paid CASH then got to the site to find there was no way we could fit in it. The campers were all packed in like sardines. It was the worst I have ever seen for lack of space.

Back to the registration office we go, to be told another one that looked empty and large enough was already reserved. We asked for a refund of our CASH and were told they couldn't do it! We were given a form to apply for a refund but we didn't even stay or even pull into the site. We are talking 15 minutes from booking time in person and they would not give us back our money. Were told it would take 14 at least days and obviously we will not be getting cash. What kind of nonsense is this???!!! Beware people, do not pay until you look at...
