The two times we came over the last 3 weekends, it was not too busy. We got there at 10:00 a.m. The small beach is accessed by a small tunnel that goes over Lake Drive Road. Thus, you can hear a lot of traffic. The water is clean and there is a large shallow area. There is lots of rooms for picnics. It is a nice beach.

There were some negative reviews about parking staff. I can see that happening though we were treated fine. Other reviews mentioned police being there which is true both times we went.

It not spectacular or wow but not much is and is a perfectly fine beach. I would come back a third time.

Like Innisfill Beach, local residents get preferable treatment. Is that fair? On one hand, It is your town or city and you get to make the rules. However, If you want people to come and spend money and help the surrounding area's economy, then there is a fine line in giving special treatment for residents who might be sick of the attraction anyway. If the town wanted to keep us away or do not care and only review ratings bring people in, then that is another story. I can see tourist being a nuisance and not wanting them around.
