Georgina Military Museum — Attraction in Georgina

My family and I had a wonderful visit. The Georgina Military Museum is a great place to reflect on the past and honour those who served, with tons of objects and uniforms of all different wars. We’ve visited many different Military Museums and the Georgina one is amount our favourite, the trench walk through is very unique! We are so thankful and happy to honour those who have served and those who are actively serving. Prior to our visit, we packaged 6 holiday care packages as part of Operation Snowball for the troops and delivered them to be send to those actively serving which is a wonderful way to thank and honour those individuals. My family and I went here on fathers day and unfortunately they were closed so we couldn't go inside to look around. I really enjoyed looking at the trucks and everything they had outside, they had an event that took place the day before we went so I think they were closed so they could clean up. All in all we are going to try again another weekend to go back to see inside

We stopped at this museum one morning while camping nearby. I wasn’t expecting much at first but ended up being amazed at how well done the collection was organized and the sheer size of the artifact collection. My kids thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Our guide Thomas was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain the exhibits and answer questions. The replica trench was really cool to see as well. Had a great time!
