This place is only open for visiting once every year or two, and it was well worth the price ($15) to do so! I got my Dad to come along with me, and he's glad to have been there, too. The furniture, walls, decor - it's all ornate beyond belief, and so beautiful and charming in a very Edwardian way. The prior owners really put a lot of money and time into restoring the house, and it shows.
It was very cool to be able to see almost the whole house - from the sitting room to smoking room/library, to dining room, to kitchen (with modern appliances made to look old), and then upstairs to the bedrooms (with phones and servant-buzzers in each room - a luxury very few could afford in the 1910s!). We also saw the basement with the bomb shelter (not much too see except concrete) and the safe that used to be an indoor pool. Then we were treated to refreshments on the veranda, and away we went.

About once a year, they will open up the doors for one day for all to come and see.
