This is a wonderful park that we make several trips to each year. This was the original landing point of United Empire Loyalists in Lennox and Addington County. As such, there is a small museum dedicated to the preservation of this history, and there is a small graveyard to explore. This park offers camping with or without electrical hook-up. They do have the option to park your camper for the season for a fee. There is a sand beach with a rope boundary, but there are no lifeguards on duty. The grounds have lots of mature trees for shade, and there always seems to be a slight breeze off of the lake to keep cool. There is a play structure with swings for kids, but it could use some updating. To keep with the UEL heritage theme, there are boats scattered throughout park that would have resembled ones of the time. The cost to enter the park is $5.00/car unless there is something going on at campground like a concert or a historical reenactment.

Overall, this is a quiet park that is more than worth the entrance fee. I can easily waste my entire day in this park. It is also about 20-25 minutes to both Picton (via the Glenora Ferry) and Napanee. It would take closer to an hour to get...

Seems to have gone downhill from what it was before the pandemic.thay now have filled all the level tent sites with seasonal trailers and the reason we were given us this side was making no money yet before the pandemic we stayed here numerous times and had seen tent come and go almost non stop the entire time we were here. The shower/washrooms were always kept clean and tidy now not so much . Grass was so long as to harbour critters and because of so many apple trees apples were all on ground and as I myself am allergic to bees for the most part spent my time in the car or the tent. I think after several years next year I will be looking for a new campground as this one seems be be geared more for RVs and trailers and thus they should perhaps make it just an RV and trailer park.staff and campers alike are all great and museum is a must on anyone's list to visit but again you'll be fine as long as you do not use a tent to do your camping in.Judge for yourself this is my and mine alone honest opinion of this property as...

We headed there to meet our extended family for a night of camping. Drove into the grounds and got a little lost - there is a 10km limit which we hadn’t really noted but were driving between 15km and 20km. The regular trailer campers surrounded our vehicle and screamed expletives about our speed with scary aggression - with our kids (6 and 8) in the back - scared out of their wits. We carry on and tone done the speed to 10km - another camper impedes our vehicle with a brick in his hand and threatens to destroy our windshield - even though we were driving 10 at this point. So shook. Find our family and site - but then the manager of the campsite finds us and throws US out (we were never staying as we didn’t feel safe). Total disbelief this just happened. UEL Adolphustown is the campsite for you if you want to be scared and run out by drunk campers who threaten you with violence. It's hard to believe that people...

Very peaceful and relaxing. This was a special outing today with our two pups. Although they cannot go on the beach it was fun. The lacegrounds are very well kept and tidy. The staff is very friendly. You can day visit and also camp here with a trailer. There is great places to hike and picnic. Excellent place

Need a place to kick back and relax... this is it. We tented the first weekend and then took our 5th over for the summer. The staff are fantastic, the other campers are very welcoming, we feel like part of a family here. There is a beach, restrooms, a shower, lots of green space and a park for the kids.
