I can't begin to explain how wonderful it was to visit this farm. From the moment you arrive it isn't hard to tell that the people working at this farm absolutely love the animals they care for. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate and proud. Our first stop was the 2 resident pigs who were absolutely incredible. I had never been close enough to a pig to pat one but I jumped at the chance to do so. I could not believe Big Red rolled over for belly rubs. Next we entered a wonderland of a barn where we were greeted by the most amazing goats. I never knew how affectionate and charismatic a goat could be until I was greeted by a tall smiley goat who stood to greet us and then when we went to feed the baby goats little Charlie in his sweater was absolutely adorable. The baby bunnies were next and just snuggled into your arms. The entire barn was wonderful and so many names and animals I can't remember them all lamas, chickens, bunny's, donkeys, cows, sheep, alpacas, and lots of goats but I loved every turn to every corner wondering what I might see next. The baby alpaca was incredible and the alpaca named Patrick had the most amazing mullet. I didn't think my daughter would leave. We finished our visit in a very nice gift shop and did a bit of early Christmas shopping with advent calendars, books, wonderful soaps and other items. My family had the most amazing visit and we can't wait to make this part of our next PEI vacation. I can not recommend this farm enough, in fact I would give 6...

Visited Island Hill Farm during our 2 week vacation to PEI. We had a fantastic time visiting the farm, the gift shop, doing the baking class (Baking with Baker Joe) and goat milking (Milking with Farmer Flory) experiences.

Baking with Baker Joe: We made some delicious blueberry scones, bread, and cinnamon rolls. Baker Joe was very friendly, patient and had a great sense of humour. The baked goods ended up feeding us breakfast for the next few days.

The Farm itself: Cute little farm with lots of animals including sheep, alpacas, goats, chickens, rabbits, and Highland cows. Really liked that we could go in and interact with the animals. Animals are very well treated with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Thanks to Grace, Melissa, Valerie and Zoe.

Milking with Farmer Flory: Farmer Flory was very enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable. We got to experience what it takes to milk a goat by hand. It was fascinating seeing and experiencing all the work the goes into the milking process.

Gift Shop: Bought some amazing alpaca yarn and goat soap. According to my girlfriend, this is the softest yarn she’s ever felt.

Thanks again to Farmer Flory and her amazing staff, this truly was the highlight of our...

I had so much fun I didn't take as many photos or photos of good quality as I would have liked! I will definitely be returning here! If I lived nearby I would get a membership because I loved it so much. But I love animals and petting them a lot.

The goats were incredibly tame and sweet. The baby goats especially were so soft and loveable! There was so much to see and pet! And the free roaming goats and sheep were also very fun! There were also horses, alpacas, chickens, pigs (did not pet), a cow and a donkey.

They had a bunch of bunnies and I absolutely loved them! They were all so fluffy and velvety. Very tame. You could hold them yourself too!

While my group did not have kids there were lots of additional activities available for them! The owner did a story time and an animal show and tell, the kids can hold the bunnies, there was a wagon ride, ice cream is available on site, and there was a milking of the goats demonstration! If you book in advance and pay extra you can bottle feed the baby goats too!

The staff were incredibly friendly and the cafe and gift shop were lovely. Their soap is amazing with such a wide variety to...

My boyfriend and I had a great time today visiting Island Hill Farm. We were greeted by a male staff member who explained a bit about the farm and then took us to a barn to see some animals. He introduced us to Abby and she took us to see a variety of animals. Abby was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were getting ready to walk back to our car and two other female staff invited us in to a second barn to see the pregnant goats and super cute bunnies. One of them then offered to take us to the gift shop and I picked up a couple of handmade gifts for Christmas. The staff were very informative and personable. Overall, this was a great experience from the friendly staff, to the cute animals! There’s lots of animals to see and it was really fun going into the pen with them. Seeing a highland cow up close was on my bucket list and even though it was a rainy day I was really happy to be able to cross that one off the list. Will definitely go back again the next time we visit PEI. PS - thanks to one of the staff members that came out as we went to the car to thank us for coming.

Found this place on our pei vacation. I love goats so I just stayed with them the whole time. I was a little concerned with the amount of sick or a injured goats but I know with that many it will happen. Again the bunnies conditions were sad. I foster for a bunny rescue and there house bunnies so I had to remind myself this is farm life. Some young goats were struggling to breathe and coughing broke my heart. Hopefully they get fixed up. We have now decided to get goats after our visit it was a fun spot for sure. The minis hooves again need some attention but as far as the whole it was a fun experience. Way more expensive then I was expecting again I didn't do much research before we showed up or we may not have paid. But seems like most of PEI there season is short an they try to make as much as they can from the tourists coming. I loved the goat love though!
