Read moreIts a provincial reserve park in Herring Cove with rocky sea shore and some land covered with woods. Nice place to sit and relax. Rocks are ideal to have bonfire but its windy most of times. However by choosing right spot it can be avoided to some extent but be aware of going too low as it could be treacherous with rising tides.
It got a good parking spot off the Purcells Cove Rd which can take 6-7 cars. You can park car facing the sea and enjoy while listening to your favourite music or company of your loved one.

Read moreAbsolutely beautiful little enclave. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the fact it's not actually a park park. Just a view point really, a small parking lot that fits maybe 10-12 cars. It's not crowded, so that's OK. There are some benches to sit, but not a picnic area. There is a little rough trail to walk along the shore line. Slippery and very icey in winter. And wind is a bit strong in this area so make sure to bundle up. But beautiful nonetheless. I won't necessarily say it's a good place to bring young children or seniors. Gravel and somewhat steep, no proper footpath. So make be a problem for those with mobility issues....
