Clean, spacious, modern visitor centre. The bilingual staff was very helpful and patient. There were two at the moment and they handled all the visitor questions efficiently.

The building is architecturally beautiful, in form and materials. Inside, the furniture was just as modern and beautiful. Even the colours were muted green and neutrals to reflect the nature outside. A long bentwood bench made a statement, facing the banners advertising all thee activities you can do.

The washrooms were super clean and the faucet was also modern with the water and soap in one piece. Much like the Dyson in many public washrooms, but this one...

Would have been nice to be able to go in. I'm traveling alone with my dog, I can't leave her in the car on a hot summer day. I don't quite understand why I'm not allowed to bring in my dog. This is not a restaurant, and I was allowed to bring her into the park's Discovery Centre at Trout River. Anyway. The few signs outside were good, and ironically enough, they provide a tiny off leash dog enclosure, so I gave them 2 stars instead of the 1. Disappointed that I...

I hiked the approach trail and it was full of beautiful plants, flowers and waterfalls! I recommend going in as early as possible, say 6am to avoid the pending heat and humidity. It was great to have brief chats with the other hikers, and a few trail runners. One runner did the return in 3 hours, amazing! If someone can bring in a metal latch for the toilet at base camp, see example in pics, that would be helpful to...

What a wonderful and amazing park! Words cant justify the beauty. It is serene and gives you a chance to connect with nature. Most of the work has little to no cellular connections so it is a great retreat. The gros morne hike is a strenous one with amazing rewards but I highly recommend doing the tablelands, the western brooke pond tour and the lobster cove for sunset!
