Sarsons Beach Park — Attraction in Kelowna

Went to this beach with Grandchildren around 9:30 this morning. The playground equipment was being used by an exercise group. Stretchy band things were tied to children’s climbing equipment. Weights, balls & a ladder thingy was on/in the grass. I am new to Kelowna so not sure how often this group meets. It was intimidating to get to/from the swings, slide and climbing dome. Orher parents with strollers didn’t stay & moved on. I use a cane and wanted to move between equipment. A sound goes off in the music & the exercise group moves between the children’s play ground equipment. Gave up & left. It explains why the parking lot was full & I had to park by the seniors...

Absolutely beautiful! You can see the view of the nearby mountains and on the north side of the beach, you can see the beautiful Kelowna downtown! Breathtaking site to see and the sounds of the beach waves are so tranquil. Not to mention - you can’t hear any traffic except air and water traffic whenever they pass by. While travelling here, you’ll go through a gorgeous neighbourhood with lots of greenery and the freshest air. Definitely...

Great family beach. Sandy, groomed beach with concrete picnic tables scattered around. Big leafy trees for some shady areas. Big grassy area and park with swings, slide etc. Bathrooms on-site. Small parking lot, rarely full on weekdays. Wear water shoes as water is a mix of sandy areas and pebbles. Stays shallow for quite a ways out. No pesky wasps....
