Great trail and waterfall spot was amazing. Only issue is it gets crowded around the same swim spot but there are logs around to sit on. Also, just as an added point to fellow visitors: DOG OWNERS STOP BEING ENTITLED AND LETTING YOUR DOGS RUN WILD AROUND THESE PUBLIC TRAILS AND SPOTS!! I was descending a slippery rock steep decline as you get to waterfall when a dkg comes running at me and barking and growling and circling me so i was trapped and was trying to not slip down hill as this dog was attacking me. The owner had them off leash. And was doing that usual entitled delusional owner thing where theyre like "oh he is usually good dog, he wont bite". Like im supposed to trust that and like that incident was downplayed. No get your dog under control. The dog dudnt listen to the owner and was clearly a bad da gerous aggressive dog in public plave. Im sick and tired of these entitled dog owners ruining public spaces by letting tgem off leash or leaving crap on ground. They should be banned from popular hiking and public spots even with a leash. Dog owners need to go somewhere else and the fines for unleashed dogs and leaving crap should be more severe. Im so sick of these ppl ruining great areas. Ive witnessed multiple ppl get harassed or annoyed by intrusive dogs running around and barking and sometimes aggressive, and on trails with dog crap and beaches with crap on it. Its disgusting. Next dog owner i encounter doing this stuff im going to aggressively bark in their faces and crap on their shoes. See how...
Read moreThis is a once in a lifetime waterfall.... I say this because even after experiencing the treacherous hike down and back up, I'd still do this at least once. This is not a hike for you if your ankles/knees are in bad shape. It is extremely steep going down and just as steep climbing up. There is a rope system at the middle part of the trail to help ensure you don't fall but I would be cautious on the trail especially if it is muddy/wet. The view though, is guaranteed worth it at least once. Give yourself at least 1 1/2 - 2 hours. When you are at what looks like a fork in the path, take a sharp right and follow the the orange markers on the tree. It's a bit of a zig zag way but definitely easier than going straight down. I recommend to take the same way back up as well. All in all, I would highly recommend experiencing...
