So mixed feeling. At the mid point, so about 2km walk, there is a beautiful view indeed! Itâs up and down, and if the rocks are wet they are very slippery. But- the freaking deer flies are absolutely relentless making this mostly unfun to walk. The chickanishing trail is far more beautiful and rewarding than this one. This is a nice forest walk with a billion deer flies. Itâs marked properly so you know where to walk.
Itâs in the entrance of the information center, you have to drive into the entire camp ground to get to a parking for it.
We wouldnât go back and were happy we got out alive even though we had bug spray. We basically soaked ourselves with it and it still didnât repel them. There was 5 of us and we all felt the same.

The hike took us 1.5 hours some spots were slippery as it looked like it had rained. I enjoyed our hike there it was pretty quiet saw two other families during the hike.
