Aleksander Estate Winery — Attraction in Kingsville

Fantastic little winery near Kingsville. We just happened to stop by to check it out and are so glad we did. We met Lucasz in the shop and what a charming, friendly, pleasant guy. Having just had a large lunch, we weren't really up to tasting, but Lucasz recommended some reds for us explaining each one in turn. We took home a 2017 Baco Noir, a 2015 Chambourcin (this one is new to us) and a 2012 Shiraz. Popped the Baco Noir this afternoon and it is just amazing .. sweet up front with a noticeable sour cherry undertone and smooth finish. Wow! Can't wait to try the others. I think this winery is a hidden gem....

Make sure to stop here! It's really a hidden gem and deserves much more attention.

Cute, unassuming, and homely. The outdoor seating isn't super abundant and we were the only ones here when we came on a Thursday late afternoon.

The tasting were chosing whichever wines you wishes for a flight if three. We loved them! Sending up leaving with the White Tango and Laured.

We stopped by this family-run winery mostly because it was “on our way” but we were sure glad we did! Welcoming atmosphere. Friendly and personal service. Really, really good wines!
