Great Spot for Camping and BBQ! This beach is one of the best-kept secrets! It’s small but beautifully maintained, making it feel like a private paradise. The washrooms are clean, which is rare at a lot of beaches. We had an amazing BBQ by the water, and it was easy to set up because the facilities are perfect for it. Read moreVisited this beach on a Friday when I brought my kids to Lakeside Park in Kingsville to play at the beach and it was closed due to high bacteria levels. I googled 'nearby beaches' and saw Cedar Island Beach was 7 minutes away and was open. We headed over and damn we loved it!! It was not busy at all, had lovely soft clean sand and the water was clear, no algae or seaweed and warm.
