Today i speak of Homer Watson house, in his time he was described as the Canadian Constable. Some would argue the Group of Seven copied him, some would say he them.Myself I find he is a tad more realistic and somehow brighter. Two of his pieces were purchased by Queen Victoria's man in Canada. I am sure he has an official title. As I have often said small town Canada museums and galleries are the heart and soul of this country. Did the Halloween spirit tour, excellent!! Really cool to see how T.O.P.S. conducts these paranormal investigations, they were very professional and explained everything with the utmost of patience. I had one of their spirit balls(aka cat ball) light up when I asked if Phoebe (H. Watson's Sister) was happy. I am 100% going back to check out Homer's landscape paintings in the daylight. I strongly suggest everyone if you do that as well!!!!!! He should be mentioned along with the Group of Seven, when discussing Canadian landscape painters!
