Don’t stay at the cabin l'érablière, and if you do, don’t go with more than 4 people. It says it can be up to 12 but don’t have running water and it is not close to any river. So that makes the experience very difficult. Also they don’t allow dogs but the place is really rustic, and many people pass by with dogs, so I didn’t get why they hate so much dogs at the point to make it a nonsense rule. They don’t even accept hypoallergenic. If you want a yellow Jackets experience go ahead!

The river Archambault is less than 100 meters away from the parking, and the view is beautiful. We didn't see anyone at the camping site by the river. There are a lot of picnic tables, and the chute is not far from the parking either. We took the trail "circuit de l'orignal", which is 5km and not difficult at all. The only complaint I have is the trail is very muddy at some poinys, but this is kind of normal around this...

The waterfall is clear to get to, but not physically easy. You need to be confident climbing up and down on steep and rocky slopes. It’s accessible for most people (I’ve seen children, dogs, older folks, etc), but just a warning it’s like… that middle ground of intermediate+ once you start the designated path towards it.
