Stayed at the 3B oTENTik with my dogs. Such a lovely place. Clean public washrooms and a cute park for kids. Even the outhouse was clean. Overall great experience, can't wait to return next year. There are also nice gazebos to have a picnic under. Overall this area felt extremely safe and well looked after. The closet trail was a little unkempt so I avoided it with my dogs because I was worried about ticks. I did manage to go to the other set of trails further down the parkway and the set of trails in Landon Bay. All those trails were beautiful and well kept. Some of the trails were on the side of a cliff with movable rocks, so careful if you have issues with mobility. The parking lots are very small at the trail heads but I was able to manage.

The coolest part of my trip was hearing the coyotes howling in the middle...

We've been sailing from Toronto to the thousand islands for 30 years. Our children and now our grand children look forward to walking ever park island looking for deer and other birds, bees, plants and trees that make the National Park special. Above all though is meeting friends renewing memories of the past and hearing about their adventures boating in the islands. Dinghying into Gan to get ice cream, pizza or various supplies adds variety to our time here. This year we started finding carved owls on the park paths. One of the friendly park staff makes each one. It's a blast when one of the children recognizes an owl and then feels the beauty of the wood (cedar,...

Beautiful area, we visited during summer when the weather was amazing. Lots of things to do in the region. Would highly recommend exploring the islands from the water either by renting a boat or taking a sightseeing tour. We rented a sea-doo to explore ourselves which was a great experience.

There are lots of beaches and park along the coast to relax and swim, countless opportunities for water sports (kayaking, paddle boarding etc) and great places to walk.

We staying in a lovely hotel up the St Lawrence river in Brockville but camping and log cabins are another option. However not sure if I would recommend in the summer given the heat...

A fantastic 5-hour cruise (boat and castle tour) on the morning of August 15. It took over half an hour to go through the Custom. Therefore, it was kind of rush to tour Boldt castle. Don’t forget to go up to the third floor with good view. I don’t know since when some people in the US started to act rudely to non-Americans, especially Chinese. Kind of shame for knowing that. Their behaviors of talking bad things at someone’s back is disgusting and uncivilized. Surprisingly, those people seemed to enjoy about it, not knowing they were racists and messed up American spirits.
