This has to be one of the most amazing museums I’ve ever visited! The passion and pride of the local people, their culture, and the deep maritime history of the region shine through every exhibit. This isn’t your typical museum—there are indoor and outdoor sections, real boats you can board and explore, and immersive displays that let you truly feel what life was like at sea. The interactive videos and hands-on exhibits bring the story of the Saint Lawrence River and its vital role in trade to life. Every corner reflects the dedication of those who preserve this history. Great for adults and boat enthusiasts. This museum has lots of great displays and information. The large ships on display were great and a nice way to move around the property. First off, it seemed almost too cheap when they told us the price, surprising these days. We walked around, saw the short video, went on some boats and had a very nice time. But then we also walked the grounds in the back, a really nice extra. There are activities for children as you walk and you wind through the forest and high grass fields which was great even in the rain. The main issue is that the mosquitoes are ferocious. Bring mosquito repellant, which we did and still got a lot of bites, nevertheless we did...
