Great little quiet beach at the end of a dead end road. Cross the railway tracks at the designated crossing and then take the stairs down to the beach. It’s a nice sandy beach with some pebbles. At low tide a lot of rocks and seaweed are exposed. There is an outhouse and garbage bins located in the parking lot that can fit maybe 15-20 cars but most I saw well there was 5 at any one time. More of a walking than swimming beach

This is not a manicured beach. The railway runs on an embankment with large boulders to prevent erosion. During the summer season steps are installed to make the beach accessible but it's May so no such luck. We did get down to the beach but it was a struggle with the dog. Loads of driftwood. If you like beaches like this then it's for you!

Gorgeous beach !

Went there on a whim one evening, during low tide, to look for birds and we got more than expected.

We saw a seal, 3 Beluga Wales (one was a mom and baby duo), lots of gulls and cormorants and common eiders but then....right in front of us, in the water landed a king eider.

We went back 2 more times but didn't get lucky, which was okay, the beach was still beautiful to walk along, clean, the water was clear and refreshing...
