We recently explored the Sentier de la Forêt Marine in Baie-Saint-Paul, and it was a perfect outdoor adventure. The 4km route, mostly easy, offered a picturesque journey through snowy landscapes, with glimpses of waterfalls, a serene river, and breathtaking views of the bay. The sunny weather added to the charm, making it an ideal hike for nature enthusiasts. Highly recommended for a refreshing day surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.

We walked the trail from top to bottom with a dog - on a leash as you might expect. The river and falls were very lively with a lot of rain and meltwater. Some ice on the upper part of the trail. Well maintained and sign posted. Picnic tables, bridges and duckboards exceptionally well maintained. So we liked it and so fid the dog!

Honestly , the forest walk was so therapeutic. The 8km back and forth took roughly 3-4hours but worth every inch for one being free and two being so peaceful. I highly recommend this trip while your in Charlevoix since it’s worth the time and experience! Make sure to bring drinks and snacks along the way
