This is another beautiful spot not far from Sydney. The views are great with rugged coast line. You can go for walk along the trail, which is not tough and should be easy for all age and all skills levels and physical ability. You can watch the waves for hours and at times you may get massive waves crashing against the stoney coastline and sea stacks. Plenty of parking and though there is a gate, I have never seen it closed even well after the sunset...
Read moreThis lighthouse overlooking the Fortress Louisburg has spectacular views. The place can be remarkably brilliant during sunsets. The only problem is when you enter the unpaved road leading to the lighthouse. You go over this road on your own risk, that could end in a trip that can cost a lot of repair on your car. It is a shame that it is not safe to drive there, with these kind of road conditions. Parks Canada owns the site, and I can't understand that they not look after their property, so that our tourists can safely visit this...
