The Parrot's Bay Conservation Area is a wonderful area to walk, hike, run, ski, snowshoe or row. The main entrance is off the parking lot found on Highway 33 west of Amherstview and it leads to Trail 1. However, the Area can also be reached on its north side off Taylor Kidd Boulevard to Trail 4 or at its south east corner off Bayview Drive to Trail 6.
A quick visit for seeing Parrot's Bay is to follow Trail 1 to the Viewing Deck. A longer visit is to follow Trails 1, 2 and 3 to the bridge and return back on the same trails. A circumference tour of an hour or two is to follow Trails 1, 2, 3, 4, southern 5 and 6 and then Highway 33 west to the main entrance. Trails 1 through 3 are the easiest trails to transverse whereas Trails 4 through 6 are quite rugged.

Plenty of parking available at their main entrance off of Bath Road, and a decent amount off Taylor Kidd as well. Overall a nice conservation area and it's worth a visit. Definitely...
