A beautiful place to visit. Again not giving five star due to the fact that they could have maintained it better. The water flow follows the wooden canal type ramp but falls through a crack halfway before reaching the end to create that waterfall look. Little maintenance is needed. The bridge across the river is broken so it has been cordoned off halfway. Still a nice place to spend some time and for photos. Wooden ramp gets slippery when wet and mainly as it slopes so be careful. Overall nice place, we spent about an hour here which is more than enough.

Visited Crooked Slide Park, and while it was a pleasant experience overall, there were a few areas that could use some improvement. The park's natural setting is beautiful, offering a peaceful retreat with lovely scenery. However, I expected more exploring trails cleared which was disappointing. Despite these issues, it was a nice spot for a picnic day out, and I would consider returning with the hope that some enhancements are made in the future.

What a cool little spot! I can't believe I have never been here before. I will be going back again. There is an outhouse and a change room so I guess people swim here. I wasn't prepared for that. So I will make sure I'm ready next time. If any one can point me to more information about this place that would be awesome. Lots of room for a picnic and more hiking trails not far away.

This is a beautiful old park that shows you how logs were moved down river and around water falls or rapids. There are many wooden walk ways to explore, best place for pictures and a picnic lunch. Don't forget your bathing suit, there is a place to change so you can take a little dip. The review written by Jim Thorne is totally false, please pay no attention to it. It looks like he just went up and down the Ottawa Valley posting negative reviews. It is obvious he was just trying to collect google points. If he could read signs he would have found an incredible walking trail just...

Small cute area. No hiking needed at all. Literally 30 sec from parking. The walk upto the falls is very easy. (Man made) The rocks between the streams in the water can be used to cross between different down streams. Crossing them are doable. (Be careful) Rocks can also be used as a romantic spot to chill and watch the waters flow or just take in the beauty the place has to offer. Highly recommend for a quick walk to view a beautiful scenic water.

P.S. Maybe bring a water duckling to race with...
