I recently visited Bleu Lavande in Magog, Quebec, and overall, I would rate the experience as a 3.5 out of 5. The visit was pleasant, though it had its highs and lows. Upon arrival, I noticed the charm of the lavender fields, which were as picturesque and fragrant as advertised. The ambiance of the place was serene, and the sight of the lavender in full bloom was genuinely captivating. However, the place was quite crowded, which slightly detracted from the tranquil atmosphere that one might expect in such a setting. It seems that Bleu Lavande is a popular destination, especially during peak visiting hours, and this can impact the overall experience if you prefer a quieter, more intimate visit. The farm offers guided tours and various wellness activities, which can be quite informative and enjoyable if you have an interest in learning about lavender and its various uses. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and they added a lot of value to the visit. One of the notable features of Bleu Lavande is its boutique, which sells a wide range of lavender-derived products. From essential oils and soaps to culinary items and souvenirs, the selection is impressive. However, I found the prices in the boutique to be significantly overpriced. While the quality of the products is undeniable, the cost was high enough to deter me from making any purchases. It felt like the prices did not offer good value for money, which was disappointing. In summary, while Bleu Lavande offers a beautiful and aromatic escape with its lush lavender fields and informative tours, the crowded environment and overpriced boutique items were drawbacks. If you are a lavender enthusiast or enjoy picturesque nature spots, it is still worth a visit, but be prepared for the crowds and high prices in the boutique.

We visited on Saturday August 19 in the early afternoon and I wanted to take the time to give some tips and also appreciate the staff. I booked this trip well ahead. Almost several weeks before. And I regret booking too early because when we arrived in our gite. It turns out that certain Auberge in the area have a partnership with the attractions in the area and give discounts at certain attractions and restaurants. I recommend to arrive at your accommodations before booking anything but still getting the tickets online to save a bit of time and money. That being said. I wanted to really take the time to talk about how good the staff was at the store during this day. We were going to get some things in the shop and the staff took a lot of time to answer all my questions. Also, because I had booked the tickets in advanced. When we asked about the discount. It only applies to the entrance tickets and not the product. It's not a problem and I wasn't expecting any changes because we had already entered the park. But the manager took the time to find us and for me to apply the discount when I repaid. This experience was so above and beyond that I have nothing but good things to say about the people that work here. For the place itself. Yes, there's a cost to entering. But there was something really healing about seeing the fields. There's no need to get tickets if you're just buying from the store. But for the tickets themselves. It felt like it was worth it because we had a bouquet of lavender that came with the tickets which added something really special. As well as we got a lot of good pictures in the area. As did a ton of people we saw taking pictures there that day.

I was there with a group of 15 people, for a family meeting. I booked us the Bleu Royal package which includes a lunch box(vegeterian option possible), the site entrance (lavender field guided tour) and a little gift for 25$ per person. The booking: it was fine, they gave us the group discount event though we were 5 persons short. It was just confusing that I had to confirm a bunch of times with the lady; she wanted to make sure we would be there. Also, we didnt have to pay for young kids (<2yrs), but no food was prepared for them when we got there. Good thing that the manager easily found a solution for us. The lunch box : Food was very good. I was a bit disapointed that we couldnt eat in the field since the food was served on a tray and not like in a bag/basket. The lavender field tour: I was disapointed that we didnt have a guide only for our group. We were a lot of people for only one guide (>30) and he had to do it both in french and english, so it was a bit long for nothing. They explained us from A to Z how to grow lavender and get the oil. We didnt really go into the fields, so plan time for that. This place is very touristy and lack a bit of organisation in my opinion. I would go back just for a stroll in the field, eat/relax, do yoga, but would never do any of the touristic activity again.
