It was my first visit here to watch Tundra swans migration. Great , impressive and informative. The indoor and outdoor watch towers are simple but at very good positions to watch. My husband and I want to thank the guide at the tower helping and explaining to us on a Sunday morning.. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He answered our questions like a walking encyclopedia. ...

Family Reunion had me touring relatives here, from Tillsonburg. The swans are always exciting to see. Noisy too! The local club members are Wonderful hosts. Sharing their binoculars and pointing our rare birds than come to this Aylmer Sanctuary. Free! Drive in. There are Steps up to an inside observation deck. Stay as long as you like. I go every Spring! Incredible up close viewing of tundra swans. The birds are there in big numbers, maybe 300 or so today. They say its the most up close viewing area for Tundra Swans in the world! The observation towers allow viewing of swans from as close as 30 metres (estimated). Definitely worth the drive to Aylmer for any nature lover.

We came here two weeks ago and there were only geese. Now is much better, many tundra swans at the viewing stands! Bring a zoom lens :) It would be more helpful for people living far away if staff posted when they start to have more swans in the area.

Nice place to go. We saw around 150 tundra swans today. There are more swans in the afternoon than that in the morning. Besides swans and geese are more active in the afternoon. There’re a lot of parking places, so don’t need to worry about parking.
