The beach was lovely, firewood was super easy to find. Overall our camping experience was as expected!

Two challenges that had to do with our site specifically. We booked the Coyote Flats group site, and it looked like a parking lot. It was a big circle, 80% of it was gravel, and there was little shade or cover from rain. We were also unable to close our gate (I'm not even sure if we should be able too) and there is no signage, so many other campers thought our site was a road. We lost count as to how many people just drove in, at all hours of the...

It has a homey feel, very quaint and quiet and rustic. Cozy family atmosphere. Store at the beach with fvery friendly staff. Change rooms by the beach with bathrooms and showers. Hot foods served. Hiking trails to adventure, long and short depending on your interest. Activities planned by the staff. Night Geo cashing, cook bannock night, movie by the museum, museum, Amazing Race, crafts for the children fun for everyone. Great fishing. Disc golfing and an inflatable water park for 5 and up in the neighboring Danielson Prov. Park a...

Was super windy. Beach is nice and there was a small store and park right off the beach. The docks were closed when we were there and that beach was beautiful! Had to look for the walking trails. Loop was 4km.

Camp sites look nice. The ones closer to the water were more open, but if you went further back from the shore they were nicely wooded and more private.

Across the way is the Dunes interpretive centre. The walk to the dunes is 2.85km and then back, but it's a...

Always a great experience to stay at this campground. We don't even have a favourite site, almost all are great. We love that there is a (very good) concession for food, ice cream etc and camping/fishing supplies. Lake Diefenbaker is very clear and you can walk in far. There are beautiful walking trails, we finally did the Juniper trail on the other side of the road. At dusk we often go watch the sunset or look for deer near the campground. Never a dull moment!

Excellent Provincial Park near Saskatoon. They have great campgrounds and very fascinating Sand Dunes. We went there for May long weekend a did camping for one night. The campground is great. Toilets and showers area was clean. They had logs for making fire. There are not many trails except the lengthier Sand Dunes Trail which is fantastic. Tou will end up seeing mesmerizing dunes and it's a great place to take pictures as well.
