First visit to Margaretsville Beach Area, which has a small waterfall, small wharf, and small boardwalk. It also has a lighthouse down the road, which happened to be closed. The beach area/ site is fascinating as it is stated to be the point to have the highest tide levels in the world. It would be fascinating to see if the high tide came in since the area is full of big rocks and gravel, which is very difficult to walk across the terrain itself once you walk past the small boardwalk. You would need to walk across the rocks and terrain to get to see the small waterfall. It does not have any sand beach in the area but wouldn't make a good...

I love this area and only give 4 stars because the wharf is being allowed to fall apart and is becoming unsafe in places. Parents need to watch their kids here. The wild roses in summer add a...

Also, park on the paved road, and not on the dirt road closer to the lighthouse. Especially in spring. You'll get stuck in the mud and need a tow. I say this based on...
