Frequently visited, great park and trail in central Richmond Hill, Ontario.

There is free parking near the pond, and a play ground for young kids. YOu can also park free along many of the streets just north of the playground that back onto the park. The whole place is family friendly.

Cyclists, hikers and and dog owners will love the trail that starts north of the pond and goes into a big circle towards the west. The trail first goes south up a slight hill and into a major park opening, that is great for picnics, throwing the ball or just relaxing. There appears to be an area to BBQ near the shelter here. Then just west of this park area, head north again, along the homes, and you will see the trail continue leading back to a retaining pond and back to the main Mill Pond area, including the Swann penn.

The City throws a lot of free events in the park, including concerts and even outdoor movie nights! Expect it to be really busy for Victoria Day...

A small beautiful park located in Richmond Hill. This place is highly recommended for newborn babies as their parents can put them in strollers and enjoy a nice walk around a small pond. There are also a lot of benches where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the pond view. It also has two small hiking trails and the level of the trail is for beginners. The best part of this hiking trail is that you can move with a baby stroller as it is a small path you could follow that will eventually bring you back to the main entrance. The parking space is opposite the park plus it has public washrooms located in the parking lot. The good thing about this park is that it is not as crowded as compared to parks in GTA. You can also buy takeout and come to this park and sit on a bench and enjoy the pond view...

Mill Pond Park is a really great park to walk, talk and watch geese around the fountain. The sun reflection over the water make it sparkle and make you feel happy. Toilets there are clean too and there is a parking area just in front of the park. There is always a police car around either in front of the park or just nearby in the same road always watching which make you feel safe when the kids are playing and crossing. Sometimes the ice cream truck comes which is a lovely moment for the kids in the summer.
