Had a great time exploring Crowe Lake today. It is a popular cottaging lake in Peterborough county and is deep enough to offer some great multi species fishing. We saw some nice bass caught today and from what we’ve heard it used to be a trophy Muskie fishery however after it was somewhat foolishly stocked with Northern Pike the fishing hasn’t been as great. It’s a clean lake that benefits from the inflow of the Crowe River which itself left us much more to explore another time!
