Overall, it was a good experience and a fun day. One of the major positive parts of the beach was the warm water. I was quite surprised with how pleasant it was. Also, the beach was busy but it didn't feel that way. Everyone was evenly spread and respectful. A few things to consider include the parking, the walk, and the beach itself. The parking lot is a bit difficult because there are no designated spots and there was a lot of wasted space that could've been used for other families trying to visit. The next thing was the journey to the beach. It was a bit difficult to figure out where to go and it was a decently long walk to the beach. When the tide is in you do not have to walk far into the water to be able to take a dip and when the tide is out its perfect for kids. The sand is beautiful and there's not many rocks. Perfect sand for sand castle building! It also boasts an awesome picnic area before you get to the beach. I will say that it is quite a walk for anyone who may have mobility issues but the board walk is nice and the path is level enough for a wheelchair to make it over.
