Medicine Hat Brewing Company — Attraction in Medicine Hat

Unfortunately you were the first people to do this to me and I’m sure you will not be the last. Today was the funeral of my grandfather. I came to Medicine Hat brew co. To further celebrate his life over a well brewed beer. As well as supporting a local company. Upon entering I was asked if was vaccinated. I responded double vacced. They asked for proof. I said take me at my word, I’m of old values. They said sorry we can not bla bla bla Covid. I walked out to my truck, grabbed proof of both shots. Return inside where I showed proof and said I have the right to conceal my health records. Not allowing me in without proof is discriminatory. Walked out. I previously enjoyed lots of your beers. I will now boycott your company for the rest of my life. It might be the talk of the town(Covid)/ world or being pushed by our government.But by no means should this be happening to anyone at all. You might as well Load us on the train to the gas chambers. Or tattoo barcodes on our neck. But history will repeat itself and I will not stand by it. I hope more follow in my footsteps. I absolutely need to leave a review for Brew Co. Back in December, I booked the private room for a Christmas party and it was awesome. I also booked it just this past weekend for a surprise Birthday party and it was incredible!! Such a fantastic space, it's nice that the private room is situated a little bit away from the tap room and there are two bathrooms right next to it. The servers were wonderful, always checking in to make sure everyone had drinks and that food was coming out when needed. And if course all the food and drinks were delicious and good portions too! And even planning it was such a smooth process, anytime I needed to contact them, Brennan always supplied information and answered questions in a timely manner. We didn't need to worry about clean up either like we would have if we rented a hall. And they allow kids there too as we had a couple in attendance. It was so perfect! I recommend anyone looking for a mid-size group to rent the space if looking for a place. It was such a great experience from beginning to end. Thank you all so very much for everything. Impressed with both the beer and food AND the customer service. Staff communicated well with customers and each other. I arrived less than 1.5 hours of them having the entire place reserved. They communicated that very clearly.

I got a flight of a variety of beers to sample. Love that they arrived on a board cut like Alberta and it suggested I drink my way down to Lethbridge and back up Medicine Hat. They have a couple rotating taps which keeps it interesting.

I order the butternut squash ravioli. AMAZING! Roasted veggies on top and a cashew sauce. It was delicious. There are so many more things on the menu that I’d love to try.

The place had a small town feel where they knew most people coming through the doors but they were also very welcoming of a non local like myself.
