I spent my whole childhood up here, 31 years old now. The water has always been clean with a tint of blue, beautiful animals, sky and air. First left turn to blue sea lake arrows is the front of the lake. Kaz store is usually where people stop for booze and smokes. Carton of smokes cheapest at Hawks Trading Post. Past 30 mins drive to an area with orange roof, gas station across from chip stand turn down that road left. Sharp turn but it’s the back of blue sea camp sites. First 5 people here now there are over 40 people for sure if not more.
In town more pasting through maniwaki is a good Metro city folks are use to going to. GT is up the road and Dollar Store. Keep going straight until you pass the wooden bridge. If you look to your right you’ll see a road that looks like the road is consumed by a hill and mountain is the distance… that’s the road.

With the ongoing conservation efforts this lake has once again become beautiful. There was a time back in the 90s where it was on the decline. Read moreThe lake itself is stunning—crystal-clear water and peaceful surroundings—but it’s not very accessible for visitors who aren’t staying on the lake. Most of the shoreline seems to be lined with private properties, so unless you’re renting a cottage or have access to a boat, there’s not much to do. It seems not yet set up for casual day-trippers or tourists. If anyone knows more about it....
