What a great park! Clean and quiet, spacious sites. Not very busy likely due to being in a less popular area of the province and no serviced sites.. but we loved it. We had our paddle boards and were able to get out a few times. Lots of starfish! We also had fun visiting Sherbrooke Village. Lotte had fun exploring the beaches and rolling around in the gravel.

One of the best provincial parks in Nova Scotia! It’s absolutely gorgeous here, you have water all around you, the swimming is great, the bathrooms are clean and the park is quiet. I think the best thing about this park are the staff, they truly go above and beyond to ensure you are having a good stay. We can’t wait to go back!

Very clean and well maintained. We stayed in site 40 which is both private and super close to the showers etc. Only word of caution, some of the sites are rather small and not very private so wouldn't be ideal for people like us with 2 dogs.

It's a very beautiful park with stunning sunsets over the river, and its very secluded as there's not much around. A good place for star gazing as well if conditions are right.

But because the provincial government has cut the budget for our provincial parks there is no full-time staffer available, which really puts a dampener on customer service.

You have to check yourself in at a kiosk over the phone thats available and pay via credit over the phone or by cash which is put into an envelope and put into a slot. Bring exact change if you're using cash! Firewood and ice are paid for the same way and are retrieved yourself.

We got really lucky, and the morning after our stay we ran into a very friendly gentleman who was there cutting firewood, and he told us about the area and what is available to see and do, and a bit about the surrounding communities. This is information that wasn't available...

Amazing Provincial Park. I didn't plan on staying here originally, and didn't have high hopes. The park is small, but beautiful. There is a relaxing atmosphere, and it was a very nice stay. We only stayed one night, but wished it was more. There isn't much to do in the area, but if you enjoy marine life and sunsets, this is the place for you! So many star fish can be found! They also give lots of firewood, and the washrooms were...

This is an amazing location off the beaten track offering great views and lots of activities in the park and nearby. It’s a great base for daily excursions to Guysborough, Tor Bay Beach Provincial Park and the Sherbrooke area. Only stayed two nights (after 3 nights in Sherbrooke) but will definitely come back soon. General store not far away with an NSLC outlet and the drive down from Hwy 7 is beautiful. A...
