It's a very beautiful park with stunning sunsets over the river, and its very secluded as there's not much around. A good place for star gazing as well if conditions are right.
But because the provincial government has cut the budget for our provincial parks there is no full-time staffer available, which really puts a dampener on customer service.
You have to check yourself in at a kiosk over the phone thats available and pay via credit over the phone or by cash which is put into an envelope and put into a slot. Bring exact change if you're using cash! Firewood and ice are paid for the same way and are retrieved yourself.
